Bako Foundation Achievements

The Bako Youth Development Foundation is a Kaduna-based non-governmental organization established in 1998 to empower youths, women, and children through education, advocacy, and skill development. With its headquarters in Ungwan Boro, Sabon Tasha, and an additional office in Jaba LGA, the foundation envisions a society where young people are fully developed and actively contributing to community growth. Guided by values of integrity, teamwork, hard work, sincerity, service, and sacrifice, BYDF focuses on critical areas such as HIV/AIDS awareness, maternal and child health, care for orphans and vulnerable children, sickle cell disease, drug abuse prevention, and household economic strengthening. Through strategies like workshops, vocational training, leadership development, and community sensitization, the foundation has impacted thousands of lives across Kaduna State, making it a vital force in building a brighter future for its focal groups.
